What it does

  1. End-to-end automated parking enforcement. ALPR captures plate data; Phylax requests owner data from the KBA (Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt, the German federal vehicle registry); ticket letters are generated and dispatched; incoming payments are reconciled via galanthus; unresolved cases escalate to a human operator.

  2. Operator-managed deployment. Phylax runs on operator infrastructure at the operator's site. The operator configures cameras, the Flensburg-facing enquiry channel, the letter-sending service, and the reconciliation path.

  3. Operators retain the fine revenue. Phylax is a licensed product, not an enforcement-as-a-service arrangement. Operators pay a licence fee and keep all collected fines.

  4. GDPR-ready with a DPA. Phylax processes personal data (plate captures, KBA-returned owner data, letter recipients, payment-reconciliation data). The Data Processing Agreement defines the controller / processor roles, security measures, sub-processors, and breach handling.
