Purpose

Returns the transaction currency code when available.

Return

Returns the currency code associated with the transaction amount. Read it together with gln_get_transaction_amount; currency is exposed through this accessor when materialized separately. Returns NULL when the optional field is not materialized or when the input handle is NULL.

Parameters

Amount Semantics

Returns the currency code associated with the transaction amount. Read it together with gln_get_transaction_amount; currency is exposed through this accessor when materialized separately.

NULL means the source row did not provide a currency for the materialized transaction amount.

Notes

Passing NULL for in_transaction is allowed and returns NULL.

NULL means the provider did not supply this optional field for the row.

The returned pointer is borrowed from the owning backend result envelope and becomes invalid when that envelope is destroyed.
